“We needed some building work done in the past year, and Phil Wilke was recommended by a friend. Over the past 6 months he and his chippy, Andy, have worked on our roof, fences and fates. We were so impressed by their work, we asked then to build a substantial pergola in a seriously dilapidated part of our garden. They did a brilliant job, and I can’t speak highly enough of their work. They helped us work out what to do, sourced all materials (including recycled timber), turned up when they said they would, and went way above and beyond reasonable expectations to make sure it was finished for Christmas. This involved working outside for several days in temperatures well over 40 degrees.
They might be great actors, but they gave the impression they were enjoying what they were doing. They were a pleasure to have around.

“Our new cypress pine deck is a dream come true. For many years, we put up with a multi-level deck that evolved around extensions and therefore lacked functionality. Phil and Scott soon came up with a brilliant new, one level design. After viewing deck work recently completed by them, we took them on.
Now, we all have our stories about builders and tradies who promise the world and fall short on delivery. Not these blokes! They started on the day they said they would, kept us up to date on progress, make small modifications to design to better suit site issues, and conscripted me to complete painting and cleaning jobs in time for them to do the real work. They were great blokes to have around, full of good humour and camaraderie. They worked quickly, but I could see they cared about their workmanship. The finished job looks a million dollars, so to speak!”
